The Story

This is a song written in the Big Band/Standards style, for Dee and Nan's 60th Wedding Anniversary. Their first date was attending a Benny Goodman show so we incorporated that into the first verse, as well as putting in a "Goodmanesque" Clarinet line. "My dad doesn't ever cry. His eyes teared up when he heard the lyrics to this song", one of the family members told us later.
